5 Songs I Loved in 2009

Published on January 1st, 2010.

Making an actual top 5 list is just way too hard, but here are 5 songs I loved in 2009!

Girl’s Generation – Gee

Gee was the first song I could think of, I was super addicted to it when it was released and it completely rules my top tracks chart. This is just a really lovable song! Gee gee gee gee gee~~

Leo Imai – TAXI

Can’t get enough of this guy! It was hard to choose just one song though, ended up choosing between TAXI and Connector but almost all of his songs could be on this list.

Sakamoto Kyu – Sukiyaki

An old classic that I never get tired of, it’s always somewhere in the top during the summers!

Nichika – Aijou

Any song by Nichika would do actually! If I were to make a list of the worst news of 2009, Nichika’s disbandment would’ve been in the top for sure.

Perfume – Dream Fighter

Perfume’s latest album, Triangle, definitely isn’t one of their best, but there are a few good ones on it and Dream Fighter is one of them. I hope to see some great new releases in 2010!

I agree that you’ll never get sick of Sukiyaki. And Gee is so addictive.. I couldn’t stop listening to it when it first came out too but I right now, I think its too redundant.

Gee is indeed a bit redundant, but that doesn’t keep me from listening to it again and again^^
