A Perfume Fan in his 50s

Ever heard of perfume444? No? His real name is Frank Evins and he’s an American fan of the Japanese electropop group Perfume. Frank’s got quite an audience and rightfully so. His videos are incredibly hilarious! After all, seeing a guy in his 50’s totally obsessing over a group of young Japanese girls can’t be anything but fun.

Update March 20, 2013: perfume444’s channels has been taken down

He’s definitely a bit of an oddball but that’s what makes his videos so great. Some of them are a bit creepy, perhaps because of his age, but put that fact aside and just laugh with him, or don’t and laugh at him… Whichever way you choose to do it, don’t bully him :)

Here are a few vids to start off with, although he’s got 92 videos at the time I’m writing this so I strongly recommend subscribing to his channel and take some time to look at his other videos^^

    That is AWESOME!
Ever see the drama “Voice”? Izumiya Shigeru’s character is really into perfume and he is an older guy. ^^

Haha yeah :P I’ve seen it, and loved it! His character isn’t this weird though haha.

It’s interesting how if you are an older Japanese male who likes groups like Perfume, or AKB48, Morning Musume etc…They are not really weird…but if you are outside of Japan and you are an older male who likes them its weird.

      Just an observation.
I don’t find him weird because he likes perfume, I find him weird because his videos are odd. lol. but thats OK too!

Well, in my opinion it’d be just as weird if an old Japanese guy uploaded videos like these to YouTube too. This guy is obviously a bit special^^ There’s nothing weird in just liking them though!
