BANKMAN

A few months ago, I purchased an alarm clock made by Takara Tomy, namely the Clockman. A clock that talks to you and makes sure you get up and don’t get late for work. Now, Takara Tomy has introduced a new kind of Clockman, the Bankman. Bankman is very similar to Clockman, but instead of doing what an alarm clock does, it helps you save money!

Bankman talks about various things throughout the day, plays games with you occasionally and his mood changes depending on how well you save. So if you haven’t got a Clockman already, maybe you should consider getting a Bankman, because they’re a lot o fun. I wouldn’t recommend having both though as that would just be too annoying…

Since I already have a Clockman, and since I also just a little while ago got a Maneki Neko coin bank, I will not buy a Bankman. But let me know if you decide to get one!

Bankman is available in two colors and they each have their own personality. It’s yours for 5570 yen and you can buy it at Strapya World!

      Well, it would work but perhaps you’d get less varied answers since it wouldn’t recognize your coins and say things like “Wow, 500 yen!”. The hole looks pretty big, but I don’t know how thick Euros are^^;

      Shouldn’t be too hard to find! Any store that sells Takara Tomy toys should have it :) When are you going to Japan?

    Sounds funny but it’s too small, I got more 1-2pence coins than this thing could cope with. :(
