Boat House in Akasaka

in Japan

I saw this picture taken by Charles on Tokyo.Japan Times the other day, and just remembered that I’ve actually been there myself! I’ve only been in Akasaka once, and came across this at random when I was taking a walk^^

Seems like Charles was there on a cloudy day, hence the emptiness. The weather was really nice when I was there though, probably one of the warmest days in January.

This kind of activity seems to be somewhat popular in Japan, from what I have seen. A good spot for dates, fishing and just bobbing around on the waves and relaxing.

I wonder what kind of fish you’ll find here?

Two guys just chillin’.

I should give it a try next time!

Any boat houses in your neck of the woods?
