It’s finally here! Miku has been stuck in customs for two weeks (one of the few things I utterly hate about Sweden). It doesn’t happen very often but when orders do end up in customs they’re always incredibly slow. Well, now that the package is here there’s no time for sulking over that! This order included three Aragaki Yui singles, two of which I’m a little late with, but better late than never. I also got a free Konata Izumi mini figure which I really like, although of course not as much as the Miku nendoroid!
Mmm, gotta love the smell of plastic from new merchandise. Even better is the smell of a newly opened CD booklet. Good thing you don’t have to use the stand for the Konata mini figure, imagine yourself standing in an ice cube in just a sukumizu!
Do you keep the extra pieces in the box or do you have some other kind of storage for figure parts?
Double leek ftw!
Close-up. Will use this as my wallpaper^^
Everything in the box. Make sure to always eat before dealing with figure parts or you’ll most likely end up dropping stuff (I dropped one of the arms in a glass of milk, lol).
The freebie is quite well done actually. As it’s small and with no loose parts it’s easy to take with you, which I’ll probably do for future sushi walks and the like.
Well, that’s all for now, more photos of Miku and her entourage will surely come in a not so distant future!

that one great looking nendoroid figure. I can relate to your customs worries as it is the same here in Jamaica.
I have my eyes on a few nendoroids as I only have gundam figures so far – stop tempting me to blow my paypal balance again, I’m supposed to be saving for Christmas XD
Yeah^^ I’ll start ordering figures from stores inside of EU from now on as customs won’t be a problem that way :)
I have lots of figures in my wish list, and no, I won’t stop tempting you to blow your balance xD
KAGAMIKU!!! Enjoy ‘er!!! NYAAA…. to buy!! Money fall from the sky!!!
Yay leek! ^_^ Farfetch’d ftw!
I love some things Japanese, but I guess I’m too old for these figures. What do you do with these? What’s the fun in it? I wanna understand ^^
There’s nothing like being too old for collection figures, or anything else for that matter! What I do with them? Well, they’re mostly ornaments for me, have you never collected something totally useless and enjoyed it? :P
Haha… Do stamps fit into this cathegory? :) Sure, I can understand what you mean. The 1st picture looks very funny. How much does a figure like that cost? I may buy some stuff like that if I travel to Japan (so far I haven’t made it, but it’s next on my list). I do buy souvenirs, but never bought a figure like that one. Well, who knows, maybe I will when I’m in Japan (unless they’re very expensive).
I guess stamps count… A nendoroid is around $30-$40 from where I get them. Bigger figures (around 16cm to 20cm perhaps?) are usually around $50-$100 unless you find some good deals.
