Last time I ranked the H!P girls was about a year or so ago, so I gave it a try again and this is what it looks like.
I don’t have last years rankings noted, but it has changed A LOT. Last time I ranked the H!P girls, the only ones included were Morning Musume girls, except for Suzuki Airi. Now only half of them are from Morning Musume. If I were to include graduated members it definitely wouldn’t look the same though, I like the old generations of Morning Musume. Anyways, both Berryz Koubou and °C-ute have grown on me lately, not sure why but I guess it’s because Morning Musume alone isn’t enough for my wota needs.
Anyhow, Kamei Eri stays at the top, and that won’t change, she has been my number one for a looong time now and that won’t change. It was hard to choose between Momoko and Airi for the second place, but in the end Momoko got it, she just makes me happy everytime I see her. Okai Chisato is a newcomer, her TV appearances are just hilarious, I laugh both with and at her whenever she’s there, I love her sporty side as well. Miyabi got the 5th place, but I was considering giving it to Risa, but since Buono! has been my favorite group music-wise for a while now, she deserves it. 7th place went to Ai-chan, nothing shocking there, she’s always been on the list and with her latest drama appearance (Q.E.D.) she managed to stay on. 8th place is a little surprising though, Aika has always been at the bottom together with Lin Lin, Jun Jun and Koharu, but I loved her in Yorosen! and she has grown on me a lot. 9th place to Maimi, I also liked her in Yorosen! and her photobooks are pretty amazing. Last place goes to Reina, she’s always been on the list as well, no strong feelings for her but I like her somehow.
