Hinouchi Emi is releasing her 8th single, “Kataomoi”, on November 5. The single’s b-side is a cover of Remioromen’s song, “Konayuki”, which is my all-time favorite song by them.

I definitely like the song a lot, but the b-side cover isn’t bad either, actually it’s very good in my opinion. The original is still better though.

I think her cover is a lil boring unfortunately…I was hoping it would be nice but naturally, she can’t top Remioromen’s version. It’s just not so…engaging I guess. Kataomoi was a much more catchy song that I have been listening to on repeat for quite awhile now
