Japanese Schoolgirl Dwarfs

Published on October 23rd, 2010.

Have you ever seen a Japanese dwarf before? For me, this is the first time I’ve seen one.

Doesn’t it look like the girl on the left just cut off her ponytails? I’m definitely not a fan of that hairstyle. The girl on the right on the other hand is pretty cute!^^

  • Shirow

    I still would.

Same here, it’s like the ultimate legal Loli.

I probably would too, would be an interesting experience :P

    Cute ^^

I think I’ll pass. I like my girls at least 5 ft tall and above.

Same here I think, although I wouldn’t say no just because she’s short^^

A girl would really have to be something special for me to get with her if she were a midget. LOL.

    • http://www.yonasu.com yonasu

Well yeah, she would’ve to be something special to me as well… haha.

First time I ever saw a Japanese midget, thanks. Also never knew there was a difference between midget and dwarf but would it still be ok to use ‘vertically challenged’ or ‘little people’ for both (just curious)?

    • syrup

      No, no, no.

Midget, vertically challenged, little person etc. are all words that aren’t politically correct. Dwarf is the correct term.

I saw a few dwarfs in Japan.. they were older though. Also I saw an albino Japanese high schooler. Good shit.

    • http://www.yonasu.com yonasu

The word midget can be an offensive word, but calling someone who’s just short a dwarf isn’t right either. A dwarf is a person with a genetic disorder causing them to get disproportional limbs. When you put all short people in the same category, dwarf might be the common word to use, but I personally think that’s wrong.

I’ve never seen a Japanese albino, gotta look that up…

My apologies. It’s just that I’m an aspiring comic and in need of material and this subject looked promising. I got nothing against ___.

  • MikeD

Ok, there’s something wrong with me. My first thought when I saw the picture was…
Dayam! Could those skirts get ANY shorter?

    • http://www.yonasu.com yonasu

Haha well, they are extremely short :P I only just noticed now that you mentioned it…

  • Merry

    Hm.. pocket Japanese :)

  • grady

My feeling, whether you think they are cute or not is one thing, but you did not post them for that. You need help, seriously. Plus, I am an little person, so the word, Midget, is also disgusting and degrading to us as well as your posting. ~grady

    • http://www.yonasu.com yonasu

I’m sorry you feel that way, but really, I’m pretty sure I don’t need “help”. Why do you think I posted them? If I’m going to answer that myself, I’d say because it’s something that was new to me at that point and I found it interesting. It’s not like I posted it with the intention to make fun of them or anything like that, if that’s what you think. The only reason why I used the word “midget” was to make people aware of the difference between dwarfs and well, short people that aren’t dwarfs.

    • PaPa

There are over 200 different types of dwarfism, some with disproportional limbs and some not, but all have dwarfism, a medical and exceptable term. Midget is not exceptable under any circumstances as it reflects back to circus, freak show days. 85% of those with dwarfism have Achondroplasia with disproportional limbs. The other 15% make up the over 200 different types.

    • 123

Somehow I doubt these two would be put in a circus.

  • Zen Cat

Allow me to enlighten you. I am a proportional Dwarf NOT a Midget. I have Turners Syndrome which is one of the 200 or so types of dwarfism. Me thinks you have a fetish for ladies such as these. Just remember this: dwarfism is genetic– proportional dwarfs included. Chronic pain and medical bills are part of living with it. We’re not dolls to be abandoned when we break.

    • http://www.yonasu.com yonasu

Enlightened I am, but don’t jump to conclusions, I don’t have any kind of fetish for disproportional or proportional dwarfs.

  • MissCat

Actually, dwarfism is a term for ALL little people. Midget is a derogatory term for little people. Little People of America has officially banned that term. Proportionate or not a little person is a dwarf or LP.

    • Zifnab

whatever! A dwarf is a mythical creature that mines for precious minerals in mountain sides and forges the most spectacular armors and weapons you’ve ever seen!

(Just trying to lighten the mood here I truly mean no disrespect, while I do not have a fetish for anyone with dwarfism myself I want to point out that many times dwarfs like these girls are particularly cute.)

Woh, can everyone just take a deep breath and breath out slowly? I’m 100% sure Yonasu didn’t mean to offend anyone. He was only under the assumption that a midget is “a short person with proportional limbs” and thus refer to the girls above as such. If the term is incorrect or offensive, we apologize. There’s no need to increase anyone’s blood pressure because of this.

    • http://www.yonasu.com yonasu

It looks like they have gathered together and created some kind of army against me… Just because the sources I found on Google lied to me.

    • PaPa

No army against you. Just trying to educate people. Before my grandson was born I also thought, Dwarf = disproportional, M = proportional…..then I learned.
Thanks for making the changes to your posting

    • MissCat

Like you, I thought the same way until I met a dwarf, then later met and fell in love with one. I’m an AP “average person” and was just as uninformed. I apologize if I came across harshly, but when you are close to someone and hear the term used to refer to his/her body type it can touch a sensitive spot.

  • Popsii

Are you all nuts? It’s clearly a photoshopped picture

  • Bostickt31

This is the highlight of my day…first of all,i have an affinity for orientals especially japanese as well as an attraction for little people. I have found my unicorn cause i’ve always told my friends if I mey an oriental little person, i’m done, reserve the chapel. So to the fellows that said they would,i say I do!

  • ravioli

OMG they r so tiny!!!!!!!!!!! Ummmmmmmm jonas I think your Hot if u r a guy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Windy

Hi there! I they’re extremely cute, thanks for posting :)

This conversation has been interesting so far, as I’ve also been confused of what’s official or allowed term for short people in English. I’m genetically short person myself, and at my home county it’s really not appropriate to call someone dwarf or midget at our language. Instead, short people are called “short-grew people”. That’s why I got a bit upset when I noticed everybody on the Internet calls us dwarfs and seems to be okay with that.

Thus, I would be interested to know what term you, short people yourself, would like to be used of yourself, if there’s a need to talk about your shortness. Thank you :)
