Mirror’s EdgePublished on November 13th, 2008.
Today I went to town to buy Mirror’s Edge, good thing people didn’t stand in line like they did for the new World of Warcraft expansion. Got the game for $75 from a Swedish retail store, I’m afraid I’ll go bankrupt if the games stay this expensive! And unlucky as I am, the manual in my package was a bit damaged on the side.
But the price didn’t stop me, and I don’t really care about the manual anyways. I’ve played a few chapters now and all I can say is “Wow!”. I never played the demo, just after watching the trailers I was totally hooked, and the game really lives up to those trailers. Take a look at some animated stories first.
Not hooked yet? Well, then take a look at a gameplay trailer.
If you’re still not hooked, I don’t know what’s wrong with you, lol. This is probably going to be my favorite game for 2008, for all platforms, therefore I really recommend this game. Oh, and I love the fact that you can do stuff in slow motion, brings back good memories of Max Payne. Faith by the way (the character you play), is pretty hot, haha.
And if you don’t mind, I’m going to get back to the game now. I suggest you run (le parkour style if you please) down to the nearest store and get yourself a copy, like, right now.
