Norwegian Wood iPhone App

Norwegian Wood is a novel written by Haruki Murakami, it was published in 1987 and in December 2010, a movie of this historic novel was released. In the iPhone version which is officially known as “Norwegian Wood on the palm” you get to see 16 lines from the movie and the scenes where they appear.

The app also lets you share your favorite moments on Twitter which is pretty nice. Unfortunately there are no English subtitles, but check it out anyways!

I actually haven’t seen the movie yet myself, but I will eventually. I’ve heard both good and bad things about it but with actors like Kenichi Matsuyama and Rinko Kikuchi in the lead, it’s bound to be watchable. In case you haven’t seen the trailer I’ve embedded it at the end of this post. :)

Download the app here for free.

I LOVE Haruki Murakami! I’ve read so many of his books, but I haven’t read this one yet. (I have the book, just haven’t read it yet) and Kenichi Matsuyama is awesome! ;)

Cool! I’m not big on books myself so I haven’t read any of them^^; Kenichi Matsuyama is indeed awesome though!

This doesn’t look half bad. Consider myself interested. (^o^)b

It’s not that special really, but it’s a pretty nice looking app!

Commercials for this movie were constantly on TV while I was in Japan. It looks really interesting and I just found out it it was directed by a Vietnamese director! Yayyy!
