Photo Walk: A detour through the woods

Today I decided to go out and get myself a take away coffee in the sun. I do this at least twice a week, I mean when my only goal is to get a cup of coffee, I do go outside more than twice a week… This time I took a detour through the woods known as “the castlewood” and it was a pretty nice walk! Found a nice spot to take some photos of Gothenburg and some random greenery.

I also decided to make the photos bigger, before I compressed them to fit the site design, but from now on I’ll be using 1200 px in width and resize them in the post instead.

Not a lot of tall buildings in Gothenburg, you can see very far but it does make it less interesting…

I wouldn’t mind living in one of those terrace houses!

Need to find a place where the trees aren’t in the way though…

It sure is green…

Not many people around, probably because it was rather early.

Tags on the trees indicates that we’re getting close to the city.

A soccer field, used to play here when I was a kid, my school had it’s yearly tournament here.

Why do that to a tree?

Tried to take a photo of the crying baby but that dad was fast!

Do you like Red Bull? I do, but I rarely buy one, maybe because I get a huge ass coffee for the same price.

Was thinking about going further and maybe buy something to read but decided to just grab a coffee and walk home instead.

7 Eleven does the job, my average visit is probably like 30 seconds, although last time they interviewed me about my 7 Eleven habits, like what I usually buy and which store I visit the most. So that time I spent around 10-15 minutes in the store, definitely the most time I’ve ever spent in a 7 Eleven store.

Well, that was my day more or less, it’s still only 2 PM though! Now I need to do something really otaku-ish since this was very… non-otaku-ish^^

nice lil photo walk, michaelflux has been urging me to go on one for the longest while. Too bad my surroundings are not as pristine as you guys :D

I have never tried redbull, but those lil redbull cars are all over the place here, funny enough I don’t drink coffee either! I suck yea I know -_-

But just to add to what Jonas has said about getting coffee instead…

…or instead of getting coffee from 711, you can get a full bag or not-yet-made fresh-cofee, and make it yourself, and get 20x more coffee for the same price :p

and yes, still am waiting for that photowalk Mr. Brown :)

Are these taken with the Lumix? Seems like lately we all have heard the woods’ call x°D I did the same thing last week (but that was because my car suddenly stopped walking) Nice pics! I like the soccer field’s one :)
