If you’ve never been to Sweden and would like to spend a weekend here to check things out, consider coming between May 22 and 24. During those days there’ll be a new convention called Japan Expo going on at Fryshuset, Stockholm. This convention covers everything from manga to fashion shows, all in some way related to Japan and at night after 10 PM, the convention turns into a club (Club Shibuya).

There’ll also be concerts, the confirmed artists so far are Buono!, miyavi and BLOOD STAIN CHILD. Miyavi is a big success here in Sweden (last time he sold out in 3 hours!), and this is Buono’s first time outside of Asia. I’m a big fan of Buono! and they are my main reason for going. After the concerts there’ll be either signing or “meet & greet” (handshake event?). You might also get a chance to ask the artists something during the Q&A. Not all of the artists will be doing this but let’s hope Buono! will!

You’ll be able to buy artist merchandise and lots of other Japanese stuff so be sure to bring enough money. They only have 3000 pre-pay tickets so if you’re interested you should order yours now. I’m going with a couple of friends and will be meeting up with various people from the internet so feel free to join!

Hello (:
I couldn’t find your mail (maybe i’m kinda blind) so I just write here, and hope you answer pretty quickly, becouse it’s really important!
- When you buy tickets on Ticnet.se, is it then for all days? becouse, I have buyed mine, and there is just standing “may 22″ on them.. not 22-24. So is it sure that I have buyed tickets for all the days? and are the Miyavi concert include this?
sincerely Camila ^w^
- sorry for my bad english, hope you understand!

Hi!

If you got the ticket that costs 500 SEK (I think it’s the only pre-paid ticket you can get) it’s for all three days. The ticket you have will be exchanged at the venue, to a wristband or something like that which will work for all three days. The ticket gives you access to all events on the expo :)

I think Ticnet is the only place you can buy the tickets from. You don’t have to be Swedish to make an account, it’s open to everyone and I know many Europeans and Americans who bought their tickets from Ticnet, so you should be fine as long as you have a credit card :)
