Sushi Walk: Sushi De Lux

in Japan

So I’ve decided to start doing some photo walks every now and then since I got my new camera. A Sushi Walk is basically just a normal photo walk but with the goal to reach a new sushi bar every time. I also need to improve my photography skills a lot, this time the photos are pretty bad because I was hungry and never actually stopped to take a good photo, haha.

So I started off at the very top of the avenue where our famous naked Poseidon statue is. People bath here on special occasions (I’ve never done it though!).

7 Elevens are everywhere!

Spotted a sightseeing bus, you see at least one every day during the summer^^

P1000363_618

Stopped by in our local sci-fi/manga bookstore to get me something to read. Took me quite a while to decide on what to get!

Almost there now…

It’s a very small sushi bar and it shouldn’t be judged by it’s looks from the outside, after all it’s the taste that counts!

Right next to it is an “Afro Europeen Shop”, I wonder what they sell there…

Just across the street is another sushi bar, Super Sushi. I think this one is more popular and they’re really cheap. This is where I ate sushi for the first time, but personally I think it’s a pretty bad sushi bar. I should give it another try sometime though.

Well, back to Sushi De Lux where I ordered 9 pieces, just the right amount for lunch in my opinion. I usually go with 12 but since I’m having dinner at home today I had to make room for that too! Sadly there were no tamago yaki in the set this time :( I’ll ask for it next time!

Went back home shortly after finishing my lunch, very quiet and peaceful here.

A boring cat being boring at a boring road.

Oh and yeah, totally forgot to take a picture of what I bought in the bookstore so took a shot at home instead.

Yup yup, Lucky Star 1 to 4! Better late than never^^

Next time, hopefully, I’ll take a little friend with me to put some life into the photos (probably a nendoroid!).

What a great idea :3~ Although, Sushi makes me prone to food poisoning due to my dysfunct immune system.

I’m very jealous of your camera. I might go ahead and buy it for myself as a late birthday present. Did you find an awesome case for it?

Haha! Do you have some allergy maybe? My mother is allergic to shellfish T_T

I love my camera! But I don’t have a case for it yet, at the moment I’m just rolling with the neck strap which is just fine :)

What a neat idea for a photoshoot! You may have thought your photos weren’t that good, but I thought they came out really well and enjoyed looking through them!
And awesome, らき☆すた! (´・ω・`)

Thanks! :D Well I guess photos can be enjoyed even though they’re not perfect. They’re not THAT bad, but they could’ve been better^^ I’m glad you enjoyed the post though!

I didn’t expect to find the original Japanese Lucky Star manga, I was lucky! They didn’t have volume 5 and 6 in stock though, will have to grab them another time^^

My mom is allergic to shellfish too! And my brother’s allergic to all seafood. I don’t think I’m allergic though, since I can eat everything in the sea when its fully cooked. But I can also eat oysters when they’re raw.

I don’t think I could not have a case for my camera, I’m too clumsy. But I’ll let you know if I ever buy my camera, and find a nice case for it :D

Oh! Damn, it’s gotta suck to be allergic to all seafood! T_T Do you mom/brother also get a bit mad like my mom when you eat yummy seafood in front of them? Haha…

There is a really nice case for the Lumix, it looks like this: http://www.yonasu.com/wp-content/uploads/lumixcase.jpeg But $143 was quite a turnoff :P

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the peen of a hammer^^
