Today I didn’t really have anything special in mind, so I just went out for a walk. I walked towards Hanzomon station at first but when I got there I noticed that there were still one direction I hadn’t walked in before.

The rain only lasted for one day so on my third day in Japan I decided to go to Shibuya.
Started off at Hanzomon station, first time riding a Japanese train! Thanks to Dean I had an idea of how to buy and use tickets^^
It’s a bit complicated at first, but now that I’ve used the trains a few times it’s really easy.
These maps are great, always look at them so I know I’m going the right way^^ Just 4 stops from Hanzomon to Shibuya.
The yellow ones tell you where the exits are and what you’ll find outside of them.
And here it is, Shibuya! It’s kind of like getting a slap in your face, ’cause when you get up from the station you’re right in the middle of everything, definitely surprising on your first time. [click to continue…]

It was raining pretty bad on my second day in Tokyo but I managed to walk around Chiyoda-ku for about 4.5 hours before it got too cold.
This crossing is just next to Hanzomon station. Not sure what those yellow lines are for, any ideas?
More lines I don’t understand, but I guess those are for cars.
Fire department just a couple of minutes from the hotel.
First fashion/brand ad spotted, not much around Chiyoda-ku. [click to continue…]
