I haven’t really been looking forward to any Japanese movies lately, although I have seen a few really good ones, like Tokyo! (highly recommended). Last time I really looked forward to a movie was probably… Crows Zero 2. But now there’s something new to look forward to!
Tenshi no Koi stars our one and only Sasaki Nozomi who I’ve seen in Kami no Shizuku (Spring 2009 drama), which I think was her drama debut. Although I’m not 100% sure because there’s no info about her on DramaWiki and I’m way too lazy to look elsewhere^^; Either way, she did a rather fine job in Kami no Shizuku, but this looks like it could be even better. This will be her second time starring in a movie and this time she will have Tanihara Shosuke by her side, yay!
The movie is like many other movies nowadays, adapted from a popular cellphone novel that was published in book form last year. Quite obviously, Tenshi no Koi is a love story, although a rather deep one it seems. Sasaki Nozomi acts as a 17-year-old girl named Rio who’s had to deal with rape, abortion and schoolgirl prostitution. After meeting a 35-year-old university teacher who she falls in love with, she starts working on getting her life back on track.
Tenshi no Koi is set to be released on November 9 in Japan, so we will most likely have to wait a while for a subbed version of it unfortunately.
Is this something you’ll put on your watchlist?

yuria
Haha ja det känns som att det blir en sån överdramatisk film, men det kan ju bli bra ändå^^ Vart i Japan bor du?
been wondering, normally where do you get those subbed japan movies from? or where do you watch it?
Well, if I don’t buy the movie I use Asian DVD Club, if something isn’t on there I just ask around.
looks like an interesting watch. i doubt anything can be as wacky as Tokyo! was though ^_^
Well, Big Man Japan was pretty wacky too, but Tokyo! is much better^^
when will it show in youtube?
