First off I’d like to say thank you to all of you who voted for me in The Battle of The Blogs! Although it’s not really something to boast about, I am still very happy for the support. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, someone entered my blog to the contest and I ended up as a finalist against xorsyst.com for the title of Best Otaku Blog. I guess the author of the contest doesn’t know of Danny Choo^^ I’m not sure how my blog ended up winning though, because there are so many other blogs that I would put before mine for this title.
Either way, the award doesn’t really mean anything special, but it’s an achievement to me as a blogger seeing as I ended up getting around 80% of the votes. So again, thanks for the support everyone! I’ll try and keep it up as usual, and if you have suggestions or requests about posts or anything regarding this blog, I’m listening (in the comments section^^).

I think maybe they were looking for more … well… real blogs. Not to insult Danny, but his site is pretty bloated and commercialized. Yours is simple, friendlier, and more personal.

Yeah I guess it’s more about the smaller blogs, but in my opinion Danny’s blog isn’t bloated at all. It’s commercialized but I still think it’s personal, to an extend of course seeing how popular it is. But I will say thank you for the kind words :)
I’m right there with you. DC is more like a forum-blog thingy. Most of the content is user generated and well… if I say more it could cause a ban over there (^^;)
